Beef Haleem

Beef Haleem is traditional Pakistani dish which is served with hot Naan. A lot of garnish is done with ginger, Coriander leafs and lemon and it get the spicy good taste.

Ingredients of Beef Haleem:

Beef Haleem Recipe
Beef meat : 1 kg
Whole wheat: 250 gm
Onion : 1 (large, sliced)
Red lentil : 75 gm
Gram lentils: 75 gm
Chicken stock : 3 cups
Oil : 8 tbsp
Barley: 250 gm
Black lentil : 75 gm
All spice powder: 2 tbsp
Cumin seeds powder: 2 tbsp
Ginger: 4 tbsp (sliced)
Fresh coriander : 1 bunch (chopped)
Green chili: 8 (chopped)
Lemon : 4
Red chilli powder : 2 tbsp
Star anise powder : 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder : ½ tsp
Coriander powder : 2 tbsp
Salt as per taste: 2 tbsp

Cooking Directions of Beef Haleem:

Mix wheat, black lentil, gram lentil, red lentils and barley in 3.5 liter water.
Cook it until it gets soft and then grind it to make paste.
Take a medium size pan and heat chicken stock. Add ½ liter water, beef and paste in it.
Cook it until beef tender then mash the beef. Add all other spices as coriander powder, talhar chilli powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, cumin seeds powder, all spice powder, salt, and star anise powder also add small amount of water.
Stir it well then brown the onion in hot oil. Take brown onion out of oil and pure hot oil in Haleem.
Garnish the Beef Haleem with green chilies, fried onion, coriander and sliced ginger.
Serve the tasty Beef Haleem with hot Naan.

Serving:

4-6 People.
