Black Pepper Chicken

Woo!!The light spicy taste of black pepper chicken with cream is a very delicious food. Serve hot with Nan or green rice.

Ingredients of Black Pepper Chicken:

Black Pepper Chicken Recipe
Chicken : 1 kg
Yogurt : 500 gm
Ginger garlic paste: 2 tbsp
All purpose flour: 2 – 3 tsp
All spice powder: 1 tsp
Salt: to taste
Black pepper : 2 tsp
White pepper: 1/3 tsp
Oil : 2 tbsp
Butter: 8 tbsp
Whole cumin: 1 tsp
Green chilies: 3 – 5
Spring onions: 3 stalks
Cream: 1/2 cup
Cream: 2 – 3 tbsp for garnishing
Black pepper: a few pinches for garnishing

Cooking Directions of Black Pepper Chicken:

Rinse the chicken with a solution of 2 tbsp vinegar mixed with 300 ml water.
Now a marinate the chicken in ginger garlic paste mixture, salt to taste, all purpose flour and 2 tsp black pepper for 2 – 3 hours.
Heat oil and butter in a wok and cook marinated chicken in it for 5 – 6 minutes.
Add in 1 tsp black pepper, cumin, white pepper and all spice, stir fry for 2 minutes on medium heat.
Mix in beaten yogurt and whole green chilies, cover and cook on low flame till chicken gets tender. Leave for 15 minutes
Now turn the heat up to medium high to allow the extra liquid evaporate and gravy thicken to desired consistency.
Mix in spring onion, coriander and cream.
Immediately turn the heat down to very low.
Place a slice of onion on top of chicken and place a inflamed piece of coal over it.
Sprinkle olive oil on it.
Leave for 5 minutes.
Now transfer chicken into platter, garnish with black pepper and cream and serve hot with Naan or herb rice.

Serving:

3-4 People.
