Bombay Chicken is a easy recipe to cook and it is famous in Asia and can be served easily at dinners and main meals. It is simple to cook and has a nice curry leaves fragrance.
Ingredients of Bombay Chicken:
Chicken: ½ kg
Tomato puree : 1 cup
Lemon juice: 2 tbsp
Cumin: 1 tsp
Greenback seeds: 1 tsp
Mustard seeds: 1 tsp
Turmeric : ½ tsp
Salt to taste
Coconut powder: 2 tbsp
Curry leaves: 4
Onion: (grinned) 1 cup
Whole red chili: 4
Ginger garlic paste : 1 tsp
Green chilies : 4 (Sliced)
Oil: ½ cup
Cooking method of Bombay Chicken:
Heat the pan on high flame
Add whole red chilies, cumin, and mustard seeds.
When mustard seeds start crackling, add grinned onion and fry for 2 minutes.
Add ginger garlic paste, salt, turmeric, and coconut powder along with chicken, fry well.
Pour ½ cup water and add tomato puree and curry leaves.
Cook on low flame for 15 minutes.
Now turn the flame off and add lemon juice, and green chilies.
Serve with a chapatti.
Serving:
2-3 People.
