Chicken Potato Korma

No doubt Chicken Korma is always one of the best dishes among the people. it is served in almost all courses of meals in any festival. It’s delicious and will be appreciated by everyone. Try this dish it is quite different with potatoes.

Ingredients of Chicken Potato Korma:

Chicken Potato Qorma Recipe
Chicken: ½ kg
Potato : ½ kg (cut in 1 inch cube)
Yogurt : 2 cups
Clarified butter: ½ cup
Onion : 2 (sliced)
Ginger garlic paste: 1 tbsp
Green cardamom: 5 – 6
Black cardamom: 3
Cinnamon: 2 sticks
Cloves : ½ tsp
Whole black pepper : ½ tsp
Bay leaves: 2
Water : 2 cup
Chili powder : 2 tbsp
Coriander powder : 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Kewra essence : 1 tbsp

Cooking Method of Chicken Potato Korma:

Heat clarified butter in a pan, add onion and fry till golden brown.
Remove brown onion and keep on a sheet.
In the remaining clarified butter add ginger garlic paste, fry for sometimes.
Now add potatoes, chicken, green cardamoms, black cardamoms, cinnamon sticks, cloves, whole black pepper and bay leaves, stir fry.
Now add yogurt, water, chili powder, coriander powder and salt.
Cover and cook till chicken is tender.
Crush brown onion and add to the pan.
Also add Kewra essence and nutmeg mace powder, mix well.
Place on low flame for 1 – 2 minutes.
Dish it out and serve hot.
Garnish with parsley.

Serving:

3-4 People.
