Glazed Chicken with Honey is one of the simplest chicken recipes for the taste, grilled or otherwise. Chicken with fresh mint and honey glaze and its tastes is fabulous. In this recipe you can use boneless, thighs or chicken breasts.
Ingredients for Glazed Chicken with Honey:
White vinegar : ¼ cup
Chicken (cut into parts): 1kg
Salt : as required
Black pepper: as required
Honey: ½ cup
Water:3 tbsp
Mint dried: 2tbsp
Cooking Method for Glazed Chicken with Honey:
Take a bowl and place chicken pieces in it.mix olive oil and vinegar and pour over chicken pieces. Marinating time should be at least 40 minutes.
After it take a small bowl and mix honey and mint and add water for good consistency. Keep aside for glazing the chicken.
Prepare grill for medium high heat. Remove chicken pieces from marinade. Sprinkle salt and pepper.
Put chicken pieces on the hot grill.
Cook for approximately 30-40 minutes, covered, turning every 7 or 8 minutes. For the last 5-10 minutes of cooking, baste all sides with the honey mint mixture.
The chicken is done when the juices run clear when a knife tip is inserted into both the chicken breast and thigh, about 165°F for the breast and 180°F for the thigh.
Glazed Chicken can present with some kind of salad or raita.
