Kashmiri Pulao

Each place has its own special tastes and dishes. Kashmir is also famous for its unique taste and Kashmir Pulao is really a nice recipe to eat and cook.

Ingredients of Kashmir Pulao:

KASHMIRI PULAO RECIPE
Rice : 500gms
Onion sliced: 100gms
Cinnamon : 5gms
Cardamom : 5gms
Cloves: 5gms
Turmeric powder a pinch
Saffron : 1gm
Milk: 10 ml
Walnut: 20gms
Kaju : 20gms
Water
Oil: 50gms
Salt to taste

Preparation Method of Kashmir Pulao:

First of all we take a large pan, wash and soak rice.
Heat oil and fry onions till golden brown and remove.
Fry whole spices, turmeric powder, add rice and cook.
Add half-saffron dissolved in little warm milk.
Add hot water and mix well.
Cook a little. Finish with remaining saffron and cook till grains are separated and done.
Garnish Kashmiri Pulao with fried onions, walnuts and kaju.

Serving:

3-4 People.
