Mutton Soup

This recipe for the mutton soup is really simple and fast to cook. This special mutton soup is seasoned with sweet smelling mint, cinnamon and coriander.

Ingredients of Mutton Soup:

Mutton : 1 ½ Kg with bones
Onion : 1 large size, sliced
Tomato : 1 large, chopped
Cinnamon stick : 1
Salt According to taste
Turmeric: ¼ tbsp
Small cardamom: 2
Clove : 2
Corn Flour: 2 tsp (dissolved in water)
Mint Few leaves
Coriander Few leaves

Cooking Directions of Mutton Soup:

Take a pressure cooker and add all the ingredients except coriander and mint to the cooker.
Let it cook until eight whistles. Check the softness of the meat and salt. If it’s not much soft then cook it again for few minutes.
Make a mixture of corn flour with water by stirring corn flour slowly with water. Let it get thick by cooking on slow heat for some time.
Garnish it with some mint and coriander leaves which are chopped gently. Hot and tasty mutton soup is ready to serve. You can serve this soup with naan, chapati or bread.
This soup can also be made by using beef instead of mutton but remember take beef with bones.

Serving:

4- 6 people.
