Palak Rice

Palak Rice recipe is a energetic recipe with combination of Palak. We eat rice recipes with different combination but spinach rice is nice recipe

Ingredients of Palak Rice:

Palak Rice Recipe
Basmati rice : 1cup
Spinach: 1/2 bunch
Potato : 1 mashed
Garlic : 1 whole
Ginger: a small piece
Onion : 1 chopped
Tomato: 1
Curry leaves : a few sprigs
Salt to taste
Mix spices : 1/2 tbsp

For Masala

Mustard: 1 tbsp
Channa dal : 1/2 tbsp
Green chilies and red chilies: 1/2 tbsp

Preparation Method of Palak Rice:

Wash and cut the spinach into small pieces and keep aside for drain.
Then cook the basmati rice and set aside.
Now take large pot, pour some oil and when the oil is hot, add all the masala ingredients and fry till done.
Now add the onions, tomatoes and spinach and nicely mix and close with a lid.
Let the whole thing cook very well.
When it is done, add mix spices powder if you want and cook for a minute.
Take it large pan from fire and add the rice and mix it well.
Take a pan, pour some oil and put the mashed potatoes and roast it slightly and when done add the curry leaves and put into Palak rice and mix well.
Serve with raita or salads.

Serving:

2-3 People.
