Spicy Nihari

Spicy Nihari is the famous dish of Pakistan. It can be easily cooked at home. You have to follow some simple steps and delicious nihari will be ready in short time.

Ingredients of Spicy Nihari:

Spicy Nihari Recipe
Meat: 1 kg
Oil : 2 cups
Wheat flour: 1 cup
Water: 10-12 cup
All purpose flour: 1/2 cup
Ginger garlic : 2 tbsp
Prepared nihari masala : 4 tbsp
Chilli powder : 3 tbsp
Salt (heaped): 2 tsp
Cinnamon sticks : 1/2 cup
Bari illaichi : 25
Choti illaichi : 40
Black pepper : 1/2 cup
Fennel seeds : 1/2 cup
Katchri (grinned): 1/4 cup
Kaskas : 1/4 cup
Cloves: 1/4 cup
Mace : 1/4 cup
Chilli powder: 1/4 cup
Saunt (grinned): 1/4 cup

Cooking Directions of Spicy Nihari:

Grind all spices together and use accordingly.
Take a pan and put oil in it. When oil turn to hot fry the garlic and ginger paste.
Add meat pieces, chilli powder, prepared nihari masala and salt in it.
Add some water and roast very well.
Make the paste of flour and all purpose flour by adding some water. Then add this paste into meat and stirs properly.
Cover the pan and let it cook for 3-4 hours.
A very very delicious spicy nihari is prepared.
Garnished it with chopped chilies, lemons, coriander leaves and sliced ginger.
Serve it with hot Naan.

Serving:

3-4 person.
